21st Century Learning

21st Century Learning:
The Partnership for 21st Century Skills states that "Every child in the U.S. needs 21st century knowledge and skills to succeed as effective citizens, workers, and leaders."

At Richmond Street School, we seek to accomplish this through the fusion of core content areas (Reading/Language Arts, Math, Science, History) and the skills needed for success in college, career, and life.  These skills are known as "The 4 C's" and include:
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Creativity and innovation
