Earlier this year, the South Bay Readers’ Choice Awards named ESUSD the South Bay’s Favorite School District! 🎉🏆

The district’s focus on college and career readiness played a key role in earning the community’s support for this award. With an 83% A-G completion rate, ESUSD is one of the best districts in the state when it comes to college readiness.

El Segundo Middle School math teacher Garrett Troche recently brought his quick thinking and positive energy to the national stage as a contestant on the trivia game show Press Your Luck! 🎉

Mr. Troche described the experience as a roller coaster and a dream come true. We are so proud of him and the enthusiasm he brings both in and out of the classroom.

The Class of 2025 recently returned to their elementary schools for one last walk through the halls! 🎓👏 Wearing their caps and gowns, they walked the campus one last time as current students cheered them on. It was a heartwarming celebration of how far they've come!

This year’s Ed! Gala had a special raffle—the chance to be Principal for the Morning at RSS! Principal Kent took the role seriously, jumping into action and working hard to keep things running smoothly! 👏

RSS 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students celebrated their love of reading with special guests from the @Los Angeles Rams—including Rampage! 📚🐏 Each student took home a copy of Ride with Rampage, plus an activity guide, crayons, and a bookmark.
